Framing your story is important. The way you tackle a subject, depending on the stance you take can create a totally different picture.
Make sure to ask yourself these questions:
- What problem am I trying to solve?
- Why should anyone care?
- Who is my audience?
- What is important to them?
- What is the cost of inaction?
- What is your recommendation or request for their support?
TIP: Make sure to consider how to speak to community members, government and policy audiences, business and economic audiences, and general audiences. What level of formality is expected for each of these audiences?
